Marie Jo’s first-ever swimwear collection wins prestigious award

Lingerie brand Marie Jo has won the MarediModa Creative Excellence Award with its new swimwear collection even before it has been launched. The annual MarediModa Creative Excellence Award is presented to a brand or company that excels in creativity, innovation and quality. Marie Jo received this international award along with its sister brands at the luxurious Belgian lingerie company Van de Velde, Andres Sarda Baño and PrimaDonna Swim.

Marco Borioli, the president of the MarediModa Creative Excellence Award jury, was full of praise for the Belgian lingerie company: “Thanks to their various brands, Van de Velde is a leading lingerie house. Every brand is devoted to a different type of woman and is distinguished by the company’s craftsmanship, sense of style, eye for detail and the high quality of the materials used.”

For Van de Velde this award is recognition of the craftsmanship behind Marie Jo’s new refined swimwear collection of bikinis and swimsuits. Ever since the brand was launched in 1981, Van de Velde has worked to inspire women and strengthen their self-image with Marie Jo.

With the Marie Jo swimwear collection, which has just arrived in stores, Van de Velde pays tribute to strong, timeless style icons like Romy Schneider, Catherine Deneuve and Grace Kelly.
